Registration is open for IMHCA's Spring 2012 Ethics Training: Ethics of Supervision. The IMHCA ethics training for the spring will review the ethics of supervision. This three-hour workshop will explore ethical considerations for both supervisors and supervisees. The focus of this workshop will remain on ethical implication in supervision and will not be a supervision workshop. Topics to be covered include gate keeping and professional advocacy, counselor self-care and effectiveness, implications for clients (e.g. confidentiality), supervisor competence, and technology use in supervision. See dates and times below. CEUs are available.

You can go to http://www.idahomentalhealthcounselor.org/ethics_registration.html to register or you may send payment with check made payable to IMHCA to Dana Hunt Unruh (IMHCA-Ethics Registration), 3709 North Locust Grove Road, Suite 100, Meridian, Idaho 83646. Prices for the trainings can be found at http://www.idahomentalhealthcounselor.org/ethics.html and please note which training you will be attending when you send in your payment.  If you have any questions about registering, feel free to email us at info@idahomentalhealthcounselor.org.
